Matching Gifts

Many companies will match or multiply their employers’ gifts.  To see if your company participates in matching contributions, contact your Human Resources Department, Community Relations Department or company foundation.

Securities

MFCA accepts gifts of appreciated securities.  Gifts of this type allow the donor to avoid capital gains tax while providing a gift of charitable deduction based upon the market value of the stock.  If you are interested in making a contribution of stock, please contact the development office at 415-346-0143 for transfer instructions.

Memorial and Honor Gifts

Make a donation in the memory of a loved one or honor someone’s birthday, anniversary or celebratory occasion with a gift in their name.  Named scholarships and faculty stipends are available. Please contact the development office to discuss your special gift.

Endowment

The Megan Furth Catholic Academy has established an endowment fund to ensure long-term financial stability.  The endowment is a permanent fund from which only earned income is spent, while the corpus is reinvested annually.  This general endowment supports scholarship and general operating needs.
